MISSION
New forms of services are rapidly evolving as alternatives to industries that have been devastated by COVID-19. Alternative services have rapidly spread in various fields, i.e., video conferencing services instead of commuting to the office, on-demand delivery services in place of eating out, online mail order services in place of in-store sales, and online events in place of group events.
Amidst all this, there is one industry in particular for which an alternative service has not been developed, which remains devastated.
That industry is the travel industry.
「Global Ubiquitous」
By integrating the latest technologies such as AI (artificial intelligence), AR (augmented reality), VR (virtual reality), 5G/6G/7G (high-speed, high-capacity, simultaneous connections), 4K/8K/12K (super-resolution video), video distribution solutions, wearable devices, robots, HA (human augmentation), we will realize the "global ubiquitous", in which people around the world can interact "anytime, anywhere, in a language barrier-free environment" and live, work, and enjoy their lives.
We make full use of AI, AR, VR, video distribution solutions, and wearable devices, so that users can have the same experience as a real overseas trip in VR.
Rather than simply viewing plane footage on a smartphone, PC, or TV, our trips involve a level of reality in which one's field of vision, as well as the ambient sounds, etc., are the same as when traveling abroad (i.e., the same experience as reality except for smell, taste, and touch).
In addition, by incorporating CtoC mapping and matching systems such as those used for Uber (taxis) and Lime (kick scooters), which are taken for granted overseas, it is possible to instantly connect users who are scattered around the world who want to have a travel experience with guides who want to guide them to work there in real time.
There is no need for complicated preparations such as hotel and flight reservations, no long travel times, no need to spend thousands of dollars, and no need to worry about physical safety or accidents. Users can casually and safely enjoy walking around overseas for as little as $5.
Users can experience exotic locales, travel around tourist spots, have conversations with local people, and shop at stores they are interested in.
In addition, they can safely venture off the beaten track to places where they usually wouldn't go on a real trip due to safety concerns.
Dreams of traveling abroad with people who had given up on doing so because it was not physically possible (i.e., old parents in the countryside, family scattered apart, friends with physical disabilities, long-distance lovers, etc.) can also be realized.
Finally, what is noteworthy about this initiative is the creation of jobs for the millions of people who have lost their jobs due to the AI and COVID-19 worldwide.
Users don't need any special skills to become a guide.
We have also incorporated a real-time interpretation system, so there is no need for foreign language skills, either.
In particular, there is great potential demand for travel to countries where there might ordinarily be concerns regarding security and sanitation.
We are convinced that guides in such countries will have an explosive increase in income, which in turn will also have the effect of eliminating global wealth disparities and poverty issues.
